Aaron Burrell is an Emmy Award–winning journalist and content leader with deep experience in sports media and digital storytelling. He currently serves as the Content Manager for MLS NEXT Pro at Major League Soccer.

Before joining MLS, Aaron spent several years at NBC Sports, contributing to global events like the 2016 Summer Olympics (earning him a National Sports Emmy), the 2018 Winter Olympics (earning him a National Sports Emmy Nomination), the English Premier League (earning him another National Sports Emmy Nomination), the NHL, and other NBC Sports Properties. He also worked as a freelance content creator, collaborating with athletes from the NFL, MLS, WNBA, MLB, and more to tell their stories in fresh, authentic ways.

Aaron later brought his creative vision to Hearst Television, where he produced award-winning documentaries and series, including Hometown Tragedy, which won six Telly Awards and amassed millions of views across platforms.

With a passion for impactful storytelling and a proven ability to lead teams and projects from concept to completion, Aaron continues to push boundaries in sports content and digital media.
